Honorary degrees are normally conferred, not “earned” through coursework. Most legitimate universities award them by nomination and committee review (selection criteria include distinguished contributions, public service or exceptional professional achievement). Universities usually require a formal nomination package and internal vetting before the senate/board approves. While some organisations help prepare nomination dossiers or identify opportunities, be careful: purchasing or soliciting an honorary degree from an unaccredited body is not legitimate and harms credibility. If you want support preparing a legitimate nomination, we can help prepare the dossier and identify appropriate, reputable institutions.

Our conversion package is structured to complete the program steps in six (6) months (evaluation, any brief bridging requirements, documentation, and certification issuance where applicable). However, you should note two things:

1. The internal program timeline (6 months) covers the conversion process we run, but external verification by employers, NYSC or regulatory checks (or additional revalidation by NUC) can add extra time;
2. Final recognition depends on the issuing institution’s standing and the completeness of your original records. We always advise clients to keep original transcripts and to allow a few weeks for third-party verification.
